Unofficial marriages in Southeast Asia

In relationships with quality men, official marriages protect the interests of women.

This is not in the interest of men.

Healthy, physically attractive, successful men usually want more than one woman... parallel or in short sequence.

Not prostitutes, though.

And official marriages can be a costly mistake.

In several countries of Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Brunei, Malaysia, East Timor, Indonesia, Singapore) marriages do not have to pass through government registration.

This has many advantages for men. Their is no lengthy pre-marriage bureaucracy. And divorces are a purely personal decision, without court involvement into dividing property.

I have personal experience with unofficial marriages in several countries of Southeast Asia, and can give qualified advice. Not knowing how to proceed can waste a lot of money... much, much more than what my consultation costs.
